Ding Wei: When I was coaching J.R. Smith, I was too poor to coach such a big shot.

Hupu reported on November 14th that in the men’s basketball final of the National Games, Zhejiang lost to Guangdong and missed the championship.

After the game, Zhejiang head coach Ding Wei accepted an interview with reporters and mentioned the previous topic of coaching the Zhejiang Men’s Basketball Team.

Ding Wei: I have a strong sense of belonging in Chouzhou, Zhejiang. Everyone knows that my coaching career originated here. When I first coached, I was in my 40s. I was young and energetic, and I had great ambition. The team also had good momentum.

But the next year, big-name NBA star JR Smith came. My coaching skills were too poor to command such a big star, so I had no choice but to quit get out of class. Three years later, I coached the Zhejiang Men’s Basketball Team for the second time.

This is the third time I have come back to coach. I will definitely have more gray hair this year because this team is neither like the first time I came here nor the second time I came here.
