During this offseason, Harden and the Clippers renewed their two-year new contract of 81.5 million, with a salary of 39.2 million in the first year and 42.3 million in the second year. The second year is the player option, and it is partly guaranteed. The current guaranteed part is 13.3 million. Harden will decide whether to implement the player option at the latest on June 30 next year. After that, the Clippers will decide whether to stay or not on July 12 at the latest. After July 12, Harden's salary of 42.3 million in the 26-27 season will be fully guaranteed.
