James: No one can inspire me more than Jordan, he is a pure scorer & he and I complement each other

July 14th News Recently, James and Nash talked about Jordan on the "MindtheGame" podcast.

James said: "When you talk about motivation, no one can motivate me more than Michael Jordan. To me, I think our game is complementary. Michael Jordan is a pure scorer, he is a scorer, and has the mentality of a scorer. If I could choose him, but I know I can't because I know how social media works today.

"(If this happens) you TMDs will say, 'So you want to play with Michael Jordan too? You've played with everyone else. ’I didn’t ask this question, I was just answering this question. But MJ is an inspiration for me. So is Anthony Hardaway, so is Grant Hill, and power forward Pippen. Forward players like Hardaway, Hill, Pippen - they inspired me because I had aspired to be that kind of striker. I can think of such a title now - James wants to play with Michael Jordan, I have seen it, that's weird. ”
