James: We shoulder the hope of redemption in the Beijing Olympics and are extremely proud to win glory for our country

"Team of Redemption" is moving. I was really touched by this documentary with you as the executive producer and the achievements of that team.

James: "Thank you very much for your praise. We understand that during the preparations for the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the game had nothing to do with the name on our backs, but about the red, white and blue flag on our chest that represents the United States. We shouldered the expectations of the entire country. During that time, American basketball went through a trough period, which is why the name ‘Reden’ was the most appropriate. We went to Beijing with this responsibility and remembered it in our hearts. We not only showed dominance on the court, but also became role models off the court, brave enough to speak out, and promote this great sport forward, but also showed our side as ordinary people. Therefore, when we stood on the podium and listened to the national anthem, we felt extremely proud. This team has a common goal, which is to bring glory to our country and make our people proud. I think we did it."
