May 10th News Today, Heat President Pat Riley attended the final summary conference.
Speaking of the future, Riley said he would not retire. Riley (born in 1945) said: "Today's 80 is equivalent to the past 60. I am very competitive and love to be in the competition. After the last two games, I was a little frustrated. Mickey Allison (Heat boss) and Nick Allison met with me. They were very nice to me and let me continue to do it. I will continue to work hard and make the team better."
This season, the Heat ranked tenth in the Eastern Conference with 37 wins and 45 losses. In the first round of the playoffs, the Heat were swept by the Cavaliers (4-0).
