On July 25, 404 media reported that James's lawyer team has sent a ban order to an AI company, requiring it to stop making AI "pregnancy" videos based on James.

James, who is about to be 41, has implemented a $52.6 million player option to continue playing for the Lakers. Last season, James played 70 regular season games for the Lakers, averaging 24.4 points, 7.8 rebounds and 8.2 assists per game.
