The Lakers are so happy! US media lists the Thunder trade James plan: the first round pick is enough, and another three players will be given away

The Oklahoma City Thunder just won the championship, and the US media listed what chips the Thunder would need to pay to get James to trade. Although the Thunder will not chase James, this idea is still quite interesting. Let’s take a look!

Thunders won: LeBron James, Brownie James

Lakers won: Isaiah Haltenstein, Aaron Wiggins, Kenridge Williams, 2026 first-round draft pick, 2026 first-round draft pick (from the 76ers)

Alexander just won the MVP, Jaylen Williams and Chet Homgren also proved their star strength while helping the Thunder win the championship.

Alex Caruso, Carson Wallace and Lou Dort are defensive vanguards, Nikola Topik, Ottoman Dion and Thomas Sauber are all potential high-coupon rookies; Isaiah Joe, Aaron Wiggins and Kenridge Williams are reliable role players.

If Thunder throws out an olive branch, James will most likely be interested.

Haltenstein, Wiggins and Williams can be used with the draft picks for James. The Lakers are desperate for a center, and they may not be able to find a big player better than Haltenstein.

In addition, the Thunder have a large number of future draft picks that can sell to the Lakers who lack draft picks.

The Thunder will have three first-round picks next year alone, and they can use two of them to make a deal in exchange for James. For the Thunder, the "King" is just a luxury rather than a necessity, because they have won the championship without James, but his experience may help the team build a dynasty.
