Edwards was born in January 1997 and is 28 years old, 196cm tall and weighs 93kg. He was the undraft of the 2020 NBA Draft. Edwards played for Oklahoma City Blue, a subsidiary of the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA Development League for the first two seasons of his career. By December 2021, Edwards received a 10-day contract from the Thunder and became an NBA player. However, he only got two chances to play in the NBA. Due to the limitation of playing time, his performance is also very average. After the ten-day short contract ended, Edwards left the Thunder and returned to the NBA Development League. He has never returned to the NBA again. Not only that, his performance in the NBA Development League is not actually a particularly ideal level.

After leaving the NBA, Edwards has also played in the NBA Development League, the Bundesliga, the Australian NBL, the CBA and the Puerto Rico League. In the NBL field last season, Edwards made a total of 26 appearances for Keynes, averaging 31.8 minutes per game, with averaging 19.8 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.2 blocks, and 2.7 turnovers and 3.1 fouls. His shooting percentage was 41.5%, three-point shooting percentage was 35.9%, and his free throw shooting percentage was 78.1%. In the CBA field last season, Edwards played 5 times for Xinjiang, with averaging 16.4 minutes per game, averaging 7.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 0.4 blocks, 3 turnovers and 2.2 fouls, shooting percentage of 30.8%, three-point shooting percentage of 25%, and free throw shooting percentage of 61.1%. Although Edwards' offensive efficiency in the NBL are average, his scoring ability is quite outstanding, and his ability to shoot from outside is also quite good. However, after joining the Xinjiang team, the situation has also changed completely. Edwards' performance can be said to have declined sharply. His offensive talent has not been shown at all, and his performance is also very bad. The most important thing is that Edwards' performance can be said to be declining.
