On November 19, the final round of the third phase of the CONCACAF qualifiers ended. In the end, Panama, Curacao and Haiti won three direct seats in the region.

Among them, Curacao, with a population of 150,000, beat Jamaica to qualify. They have become the team with the smallest participating area and smallest population in the history of the World Cup.

Since then, all 42 seats for the World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico have been released. The details of the shortlisted teams are as follows

Host countries: the United States, Canada, Mexico

Central and North America and the Caribbean: Panama, Curacao, Haiti

Asia: Japan, Iran, South Korea, Australia, Qatar, Uzbekistan, Saudi Arabia Arabia, Jordan

Europe: England, France, Croatia, Portugal, Norway, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Scotland, Spain, Austria, Belgium

South America: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Uruguay, Ecuador, Para Guyana

Africa Zone: Morocco, Senegal, Egypt, Algeria, Côte d'Ivoire, Tunisia, South Africa, Cape Verde, Ghana

while Suriname and Jamaica won Central and North America In Asia and the Caribbean, the two best-performing groups are ranked second. They will compete with Iraq from the AFC, Bolivia from the CONMEBOL, New Caledonia from the Oceania Football Confederation and Democratic Congo from the African Football Confederation. A total of 6 teams will participate in the intercontinental play-offs to compete for two World Cup seats.

In addition, 16 teams will participate in the European play-offs, divided into 4 groups of 4 teams each to compete for 4 World Cup tickets. The specific tiers of the European region are Italy, Denmark, Turkey, and Ukraine in the first tier; Poland, Wales, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic in the second tier;

Ireland, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Kosovo in the third tier; Sweden (UEFA Direct), Romania (UEFA Direct), North Macedonia (UEFA Direct), and Northern Ireland (UEFA Direct) in the fourth tier.
