Manchester United has links to Antoine Semenho.
Ruben Amorin has reportedly "approved" a "perfect player" from Manchester United, and Manchester United has set "high" requirements for another player.
Manchester United will face Tottenham in the Europa League final on Wednesday night, the most important game of their 2024/25 season, but club executives have begun to focus on the summer transfer window.
If they win the UEFA Cup and return to the Champions League, their budget will increase, and their priority is to overhaul their offensive division.
The Red Devils are desperate to upgrade Rasmus Hoylond and Joshua Zilkze, while they also need to sign at least another No. 10 player to fit in the 3-4-3 formation that Ruben Amorin prefers.
Manchester United have several potential candidates, with Wolves outstanding player Mattus Cunia being one of their top goals.
The Brazil international has a £62.5 million termination clause in his contract, and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed on Monday morning that they are "close" to sign the versatile attacking midfielder.
Romano provides more details in the GiveMeSport column, claiming that Amorin personally "approved" the "perfect" signing.
Amorin reportedly believes that "Cunha is a good player, he has excellent performance in the Premier League and can help immediately" and "has the potential to make greater progress at Manchester United".
Cunha's arrival has also been recognized by Manchester United's "all decision makers", who believe he "can be the perfect signing for the Red Devils" and at a "reasonable price".
Romano also claimed that United is "open to the introduction of the No. 10", while other media said they were eager to sign Bournemouth's outstanding player Antoine Semeno.
Bornemouth is at risk of losing several valuable players this summer, who have sold Dean Heysen to Real Madrid, who activated the £50 million termination clause.
But The Boot Room reported that "Bornemouth will not allow any player to leave the club unless it is exactly as the player wants", and under the terms of the transfer, Heysen is a "one-time exception".
reported that Liverpool is also interested in Manchester United's target Semenho, and Bournemouth has "put a high asking price" for the striker.
The Cherry Legion is said to be "open" to Semenho's departure, but needs to give a suitable price, and the club hopes to sign him for around £70 million this summer.
Milos Kerkez and Illia Zabarnyi were also listed as players to attract interest from other teams, with Liverpool being one of the main suitors to sign the former.
