August 12th Frankfurt officially announced that it will renew its contract with sports director Timmo Hardung until 2028.
From 2015 to 2019, Timo Hartun served as team manager at Hoffenheim and was in charge of the professional player department in Leipzig for the next two years. In the summer of 2021, he switched to Frankfurt and eventually was also in charge of the professional players department. In July 2023, he was appointed director of Frankfurt Sports, managing a team of more than 70 people.
While serving in Hartun, Frankfurt was able to enter the European arena every season. Now, he has ushered in his 11th season in professional football management.
