July 1 talkSPORT reported that Joao Pedro believes joining Chelsea will help him become the starter of the Brazilian national team in the World Cup next year.
Pedro has agreed to join Chelsea, with a total transfer price of up to £60 million, and he rejected another suitor, Newcastle.
23-year-old Pedro is already a Brazil international, but he has only made three appearances since he completed his national team debut in 2023.
Pedro believes that joining the largest club in the Premier League, All Season, will help him gain a foothold in the national team.
