The National Youth U Series Squash Championship Chengdu Station concluded

On May 18, the Chengdu Station Competition of the 2025 National Youth U Series Squash Championship ended a three-day competition at Huanyu Squash Club, and champions from each group were selected.

A total of 149 young squash players from all over the country participated in the competition, and a total of 11 groups were set up, among which the U9 to U15 groups were first group round-robin and then single-elimination matches. Due to the limited number of participants, the U17 men's group, the U17 women's group and the U19 men's group, the three groups were directly determined by the single round-robin competition.

U19 men's group Chen Haisong won the championship with all wins in the single round-robin match with 10 points, Yang Nirui won four wins in five games and 8 points, and Liang Haocon won the third place with three wins in five games and 6 points.

In the other groups, Li Yifu won the championship in the U17 men's group and Zhang Yaqi won the championship in the U17 women's group. Tang Aide won the championship in the U15 men's group, and Xia Qi won the championship in the U15 women's group. The U13 men's championship was won by Kong Yubo, while Lu Muxi won the U13 women's championship. Xiao Ruiting won the championship in the U11 men's group, and Hong Zhiya won the championship in the U11 women's group. Yuan Yi and Bian Qicheng won the U9 men's and women's championships respectively.

Among the 149 athletes participating in this competition, athletes aged 15 and under account for 87.91% of the total number of participants. Since the squash event became an official competition event of the Los Angeles Olympics, the National Youth U Series Squash Competition has begun to be held in 2024, and the number of young people, especially those in the low-age group, has shown a growth momentum.
