Clippers backcourt core: I won’t prepare for reducing workload, I will accept the team’s arrangements

The Los Angeles Clippers conducted daily training during training camp. After the training, the team's backcourt core James Harden was interviewed after the training. In the interview, he also talked about the topic of reducing Harden's workload in the new season that the team's head coach Tyronn Lue said in the interview.
In response, Harden said: I will not prepare for reducing the workload. Because my workload is my workload, I will take on the workload of the team, and I will not have any comments on this. Whether it is 36 minutes, 37 minutes, or 38 minutes, as long as the team needs me to stay on the court, I will be fully prepared for this, and I will not have any opinions or any ideas on this, because I believe this is also something that the team coaching staff thinks is good for us. In some games, we may have set the victory early, and I may only need to play 20 minutes to get a break. In some anxious games, I may play for more than 40 minutes, which is normal, and I have made full preparations for this.
In the NBA regular season last season, Harden played 79 games in 82 games, averaging 35.3 minutes per game, averaging 22.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, 8.7 assists, 1.5 steals and 0.7 blocks, and 4.3 turnovers and 2.1 fouls, shooting percentage of 41%, three-point shooting percentage of 35.2%, and free throw shooting percentage of 87.4%. In the playoffs, Harden played 7 games in total, with averaging 39.4 minutes per game, averaging 18.7 points, 5.4 rebounds, 9.1 assists, 1.3 steals and 1 block, and 3 turnovers and 2.3 fouls, shooting percentage of 43.6%, three-point shooting percentage of 36.4%, and free throw shooting percentage of 81.8%.
Harden's overall performance last season was pretty good. He was able to play his role in scoring, organization and tandem in both the regular season and the playoffs. He is the team's undisputed backcourt core. Not only does he have excellent scoring skills, but his role in passing and organizing is obvious to all. However, Harden's playing time is really too high. As a 36-year-old veteran, his playing time remains high, and it has become higher and higher as the season deepens. In the playoffs, Harden's playing time reached an extremely high level, and he had almost no chance to get a rest. However, this summer, the Clippers signed Chris Paul, and in this case, Harden did have a reliable substitute. I don't know if his playing time can be reduced.
