May 25th, Warriors coach Durant said recently when participating in the "TomTolbert" program that the team is indeed pursuing Durant this season.
Cole said: "We were known to have tried to pursue Durant but failed to do it. Then Mike (Dunleavy) called me and said, 'I think we should trade for Butler, I'll guarantee him. He's a real fighter, a great player, and I believe that'll work.' I replied, 'Okay, that's it.' We needed to make some changes at the time."
