The Rockets sent Jaylen Green, Dillon Brooks, the No. 10 pick in 2025 and 5 future second round picks (No. 59 pick in 2025 draft, two second round picks in 2026, second round picks in 2030, second round picks in 2032). These second round picks will last until 2032 and get Kevin Durant.
Steve Francis said that getting Durant will bring some vitality to Rockets fans and help the Rockets get more attention.
"The past season was great and I got second in the Western Conference, but everyone was talking about the Lakers, Warriors and Timberwolves before, so I think there is a MVP player who has proved himself to join, a player like Durant, which will fill everyone with energy, and hopefully this will make the whole of Houston excited and we will see more exciting performances next season." Francis said.
