May 23, Panasinakos forward Chedi Osman said that he did not invite former Cavaliers teammate LeBron James to Abu Dhabi to watch the 2025 European Basketball League Final Four.
Previously, Ottoman said in an interview that he might invite James to watch his semi-finals: "Maybe I send him a text message... Why not?"
When asked if he sent James a text message to watch the game, Ottoman said: "No, you know, they just went through a difficult series against the Timberwolves, and he had a knee injury. So I don't think he could come at all."
Ottoman and James played with the Cavaliers in the 2017-18 season and reached the NBA Finals. When asked if LeBron had advised him during his 2018 rookie season, especially at such a critical moment, Ottoman shook his head.
"No, I mean, there is actually no special advice. Just be myself," he said.
