Stephen Fulton is waiting for me! Nathaniel Collins is ready to challenge the title of boxing champion

Nataniel Collins is only one step away from competing for the World Boxing King's Golden Belt.

Currently, the Scottish "Flying Eagles" Nathaniel Collins ranks in the WBC's featherweight (126 pounds) number one challenger, who is likely to be officially ordered to challenge the active world champion Stephen Fulton as long as he defeats Cristobal Lorent on Saturday at Braehead Arena.

However, the WBC featherweight is now a mess:

Official world boxing champion Fulton has announced his upgrade, and he will challenge WBC super featherweight overlord Oshaki Foster at 130 pounds, and he will basically not return 126 pounds;

Bruce Carrington holds the "Transition" boxing champion's gold belt, and once Fulton confirms that he is permanently resident, he will be straightened;

Former world boxing champion Ray Vargas is still holding the title of "restoring boxing champion", and his name can be found on the official website, and he can jump out at any time to demand "restoring". In the chaos, Collins decided on one thing: first win against Lorent, and then take the gold belt.

"WBC official website has written - this winner against Fulton," Collins told BoxingScene. "Of course, Fulton is now playing 130 pounds. If he doesn't come back, I will compete for the vacant title, or fight with the transition champion, and the goal will not change."

If you really want to wear the WBC belt, a "same-school civil war" will come naturally - the opponent is another trump card under Queen Promotion and WBA feather-level champion Nick Ball. The two almost met as early as 2024: Collins held the title of British nationality, but Ball got the WBC silver belt first and obtained the right to challenge Vargas, but both sides passed by. Ball drew with Vargas, but soon defeated Ray Ford by a disagreement decision three months later and won the WBA throne.

The reporter asked Collins: "If both of them had gold belts, would they still be interested in that peak matchup in the UK?"

"Of course!" he blurted out, "How many years have we been talking about? We should have met when we were in the title of the UK. Later, he took the silver belt and beat Vargas. I walked my way, and he walked his bridge. Now, fate pushed us to the same track again. If it really hits, it would be awesome!"

However, Ball's three games after winning the championship were a little difficult: in the KO victory against TJ Dohenny and Ronnie Rios, he was beaten to the edge of the cliff; in August, he was forced to the edge of the cliff.

Collins commented lightly: "To be honest, he has been playing that way, and he was very stalemate against Ford, and there has not seen much change since then, just like that."
