September 24th News Recently, Celtic forward Tatum accepted an exclusive interview with NBC to review his Achilles tendon when he ruptured.
"It feels like I've been betrayed," Tatum said of the injury. "I've always been the kind of person who doesn't want to miss the game. I always want to play the most. Since I was selected, I've been in the top five in the league in terms of playing time and playing games. I feel like I've been paying attention to physical care and have never deceived the game. I'll take a break when it's time to take a break, and I always strictly follow my schedule when it's time to train, lift weights or get treatment.
"So this injury made me feel that this shouldn't have happened to me. For a while, I even kind of — it might sound a bit exaggerated, but I remember telling mom, ‘Mom, I might be done. I don't know if I can overcome this difficulty or if I can still meet such a challenge. ’I felt very frustrated and even once doubted whether I wanted to continue playing. ”
