Team spirit returns! Trail Blazers and Lillard sign a three-year contract

According to US journalist Shams Charania, Damian Lillard is about to sign a three-year contract with the Portland Trail Blazers with a total value of $42 million.
This contract is expected to include player options for the 2027-28 season and non-trade terms.
Lillard averaged 25.1 points, 4.3 rebounds and 6.7 assists per game this season.
Previously, the Bucks announced the use of extended clauses to slash Damian Lillard, who became a free agent; Lillard is currently in the recovery stage of injury with a ruptured Achilles tendon. He suffered injuries in the playoffs in April and is expected to take at least 10 months to complete his comeback.
