According to 15min.lt, Valanciunas said at the 2025 B8 summit in Vilnius, Lithuania: "You can comment casually. There are too many statements and various speculations. In the previous rumors, everyone expressed their opinions. Only when the first game starts can we know the answer and everything will be clear."
Regarding the matter of being traded to the Nuggets, Valanciunas previously mentioned: "When the deal is finally finalized, we will make corresponding plans. The Nuggets will show their wishes, ideas and considerations, including physical examinations and other details. It all depends on the team."
There are reports from Greece that although Valanciunas is still bound by an NBA contract, he has reached a verbal agreement with Panasinaikos for many years. He has been traded to the Nuggets by the Sacramento Kings, but the latter has not officially announced the deal.
