Nico Williams pursues his dream of Barcelona almost for sure. Athletic Bilbao is still resisting and wants to make a last-ditch effort. On Wednesday, Bilbao issued an announcement confirming that he exchanged opinions with La Liga on whether Barcelona's economic situation complies with financial rules and whether it can sign aid, but did not announce specific conclusions. Chairman Bi Bao and his staff visited Madrid on Tuesday, hoping to use La Liga to intercept Nico's transfer. According to multiple Western media reports, Barcelona will pay Nico Williams a 58 million euro termination fee after June 30, when the new fiscal year begins (62 million after adding the price index).
