July 5th, July 5th, former Chelsea central defender Cahill talked about the signings in the Blues in the summer window. He believes that new players will benefit the healthy competition within the team.

Cahill said: "It's hard to say whether Chelsea will continue to invest, because I think the roster is already very good. I always say they need a striker who scores 20 goals per season, and Drapp just fits that, and in my opinion, he's a great signing and I believe he'll have a great performance at Chelsea.

" Palmer has been the team's top scorer for the past two seasons and we all know how talented he is, but he's a midfielder after all. If Chelsea wants to go a step further, they need a striker who can score most of the goals.

"A striker who can score more than 20 goals per season is incalculable, which is why such a striker is so rare. They have successfully retained the core lineup that performed well last season and introduced new players, such as centers, where they need to be strengthened."

"I know that there are many players coming and going recently, but this should not be regarded as a negative impact on existing players. When I was playing, new teammates always excited me because this player is the one the club thinks can improve the team's strength, which is definitely not a bad thing.

"The competition in the Premier League is very fierce, and the competition becomes more intense the more we go up. When I was at Chelsea, the team had five world-class centre-backs all competing for two starting positions. If handled properly, this competition can motivate the team and make everyone motivated. This summer's transfer operation should be able to play such a role. ”
