Messi asks Inter Miami to sign Neymar? That’s so fake!

5:12am, 19 October 2025Football

October 17th. Recently, there has been some negative news related to Messi, but it is false at first glance. This news comes from Spanish media, specifically called Elnacional. They reported the news that Messi asked Inter Miami to sign Neymar, and attributed the stagnation of negotiations between Messi and Inter Miami to this. The media believes that because Busquets and Alba retired, Messi has fewer friends at Inter Miami, and he needs to find Neymar to supplement them.

However, such news is too familiar, because Messi has been slandered in this way before, including in Barcelona and Paris, as well as the Argentine national team. The media tries to portray a pure ball king as a ball tyrant. This story has all the elements and is very eye-catching, but it’s a pity that the character he wrote about is not Messi at all, but he put Messi’s name on it.

The biggest flaw in this narrative logic is that it misassessed Messi. If Messi was an ordinary super giant, it would be possible, but Messi is the purest football player in history. As a result, he was vilified into a giant baby who can only rely on his close friends in the locker room to have motivation to play. This is completely talking about other players. Messi's motivation for playing football is always football itself. The only reason why he doesn't want to play football is because he feels that he is out of shape.

From Argentina to La Masia to Miami in the United States, Messi's original intention has always remained unchanged, which is to love football and his natural desire for victory, which comes from the ultimate pursuit of every touch of the ball, every pass, every shot, and every pass.

The drama of forcing the palace to introduce Neymar is just market demand, so the media has to make up stories. Messi only solves problems on the field, not in the locker room or the office. Forcing the domineering style of doing things on Messi is obviously the media's own humiliation.
