#Manchester United [Super Talk]# Everton officially announced that Manchester United youth training director Nick Cox will join the team as technical director, and Cox will play at Manchester United until the end of the summer.
Everton: "Nick Cox is currently the Director of Academic Training, who was appointed to the position in 2019, and he joined Manchester United as Head of Academic Training Operations three years ago. As technical director, Nick will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of Finch Farm reach the top level, covering the medical, operations, facilities and player care departments, as well as the functions of the Academic Training Academy."
Nick Cox: "Youth training is an important part of the club's lifeline, and I am deeply honored to be able to shoulder the responsibility of supporting this generation of young people and employees and ensure that the club's system continues to flourish. I will always be grateful for their support and believe that as the club enters an exciting new era, they will ensure that the Academic Training Academy continues to flourish."
Manchester United could have Cox taken 12 months of gardening leave and then taken over, but Manchester United didn't do that!
