May 7th According to famous reporter Michael Scotto, sources revealed that the Pistons and Malik Beasley intend to renew each other.

During the past two seasons with the Bucks and Pistons, Beasley has shot 41.5% from three-pointers, and has been attending more than 79 games in the past four years. This summer is expected to attract multiple teams with full middle class specials (worth $14.1 million).

Since Pistons only hold Beasley's non-bird rights, they can only provide a starting salary contract of up to $7.2 million. If they want to match the market's expected price code, Pistons need to use salary space or full middle class special case.

In July last year, Beasley signed a one-year contract of 6 million. He played 82 games in the regular season this season, averaging 16.3 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.7 assists per 27.8 minutes per game, with shooting percentages of 43%, 41.6%, and 67.9% respectively in the three games;

After the playoffs, Beasley averaged 14 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game in 27.1 minutes, and the shooting percentages of the three games were 37.3%, 33.9%, and 100% respectively.
