Recommended Network May 31: Juventus may invite Fulham coach Marco Silva to coach
According to Sky Sports in Italy, Juventus is considering inviting Fulham coach Marco Silva to serve as the team's new head coach.
In March this year, Juventus fired Thiago Mota and it has not yet been determined whether Igor Dudo will continue to coach until the club's World Cup.
Previously, Juventus had expected Antonio Conte to return, but Conte finally decided to stay in Naples and continue to coach the team that had just won the Serie A championship. In addition, Juventus has also turned its attention to Gianpiero Gasperini, but the latter has reached a three-year coaching contract with Roma.
Now, Marco Silva has entered Juventus' vision. He led Fulham to 11th place in the Premier League this season. Silva has previously coached teams such as Portugal Sports, Olympiacos, Hull City, Watford and Everton, and he became the Fulham coach in the summer of 2021. The Portuguese coach will turn 48 in July this year and his contract with Fulham expires in June 2026.
However, this choice may be difficult to satisfy Juventus fans, after all, other candidates they had expected before were missed by the team.
