Turning Net, May 4, According to Italian reporter Skira, Manchester City has made important progress in renewal and will reach a new contract with 20-year-old O'Reilly on the team. The new contract will last until 2030 and include options that can be extended to 2031.

Orreilly comes from Manchester City's youth training system and has outstanding football talent. After being promoted to the first team by Guardiola this season, he quickly made his mark and has played in 17 games for Manchester City's first team so far, performing well on the offensive end, scoring 5 goals and contributing 2 assists. Especially in the FA Cup, his key goals helped the team to beat the team. For example, in the FA Cup 1/8 final against Plymouth, he scored one goal in the first and second half to help Manchester City reverse and advance 3-1, and was elected as the best player of the game with his outstanding performance.

O's current contract originally expired in 2028. Manchester City actively promoted the renewal process, demonstrating the club's high recognition of his potential and firm confidence in future development. After the contract renewal is completed, O'Reilly will continue to wear Manchester City's jersey in the next few years, to charge for the team in Premier League and Champions League and provide strong guarantees for Manchester City's lineup stability and tactical layout.
