Paris FC official: Former Monaco star Rebeers joins, transfer fee of 11.5 million euros

Hupu, August 17th, Paris FC officially announced that French striker William Gerbers joined from Swiss team St. Galbers and signed a contract with the team until June 2030.
Team Newspaper and other media learned that the Paris club, which had just been promoted to Ligue 1, paid 9 million euros, plus a bonus of 2.5 million euros to bring the center back to Ligue 1.
The former Lyon player has played in St. Gallen this season (scoring 3 goals in 3 games), and he has been playing for the club since the summer of 2023.
Gerbers started his career in Lyon and then played for Monaco and Nantes on loan, and now he will welcome his fourth French team.
He will join Paris with Otavio (former Porto player), Moses Simon (Nanteer player), Noah Sange and Tibo de Smet (Lance player) who joined early this summer.
PFC Sports Director François Ferrac said in a press release to the club:
"I am very happy to welcome William. He has the qualities we lack, and his character fits perfectly with our roster. I believe he will continue to improve with us and maximize his potential."
