On May 21, Ronaldinho was interviewed by Spanish media "Marca" and was asked about his views on last year's Golden Globe Awards.
Is it unfair to have your Brazilian compatriot Vinicius not won the Golden Globe last season?
Royce: "Yes, he has been winning important games over the years, and even scored a decisive goal in the Champions League final, which I think is what he deserves."
Why is he unpopular in many parts of Spain?
Royce: "To be honest, I don't know (laughs). He is one of Brazil's biggest idols. We Brazilian compatriots always hope that everything goes well."
