The football field can accommodate 37,000 spectators at the same time. It took nearly two years for Tianjin Teda Football Stadium to be laid in June 2002 to be completed and put into use in April 2004. Tianjin TEDA Football Stadium is the first stadium in China designed and built in accordance with international standards. It can undertake all international A-level football competitions such as the World Cup and the Olympics. It is the only professional football stadium in China that is wholly owned by the club. According to the technical requirements of the FIFA football competition venue, the football stadium is separated from the stadium by a trench 1.8 meters wide and a baffle 1 meter above the ground; the football stadium is 105 meters long and 68 meters wide.
