TA: Liverpool can afford Isaac without selling Nunes, the problem is that there is no progress

Hupu August 12th News TheAthleticUK ace reporter David Ornstein updated this week's weekly report, the following is the Liverpool part.
Did Nunez's departure raise enough funds for Isaac?
Liverpool had already offered £110 million for Isaac before selling Nunes, so they have not been relying on further reimbursement to fight for the Swedish striker.
However, this undoubtedly makes room for the team and gives them more room for maneuver financially. While people are talking about Liverpool’s crazy spending so far this summer, sports director Richard Hughes has also earned about £200 million from the sale of players (if additional clauses related to performance are included).
Liverpool has the ability to break the UK transfer record without worrying about PSR. But so far, Newcastle United's "non-sale" position shows no sign of any change. That's why Liverpool hasn't made a higher offer for Isaac.
What are their positions/players?
In addition to centers, Liverpool is also looking for a central defender, and no replacement for Kansar has been found, who was sold to Leverkusen last month.
Before Joe Gomez's Achilles tendon injury, Virgil Van Dijk and Connate are the only two remaining centre-backs in Liverpool's first team before Friday's Premier League debut against Bournemouth.
Parma's young centre-back Giovanni Leoni is highly regarded. Liverpool had previously shown interest in Crystal Palace captain Mark Guy, whose contract is about to expire.
Which players may leave?
Xavi Elliott has always been the focus of Bundesliga team Leipzig, who believes he is a potential replacement for Xavi Simmons. Liverpool's estimate of Elliott is about £50 million.
Zimekas was not selected for Slot's roster for Sunday's Community Shield. Liverpool is willing to approve the Greek international to leave the team permanently. Clubs such as Nottingham Forest have also shown interest in him.
The future of young winger Ben Dock is also unclear. The newly promoted Leeds United is one of many top clubs interested in Dock, and he is worth about £20 million.
Luca Stephenson will sign a new contract at Anfield and then head to Dundee United on loan for one season.
