Telegraph: Fanny is subject to financial restrictions when coaching Leicester City, and players resist physical training

June 29, British media Telegraph wrote that Fanny was pushed into a situation of failure by Leicester City's financial restrictions and players who refused to accept his high standards.

Van Nie has left Leicester City and the team is preparing to rebuild in the Championship, with only a few days left before first-team players return to the team for pre-season training. Sherry's Danny Leal will be a possible target on Wednesday, with sources ruled out former Everton and Burnley coach Sean Dyche taking over.

Van Nie has been doubting for the coming weeks after he failed to stop Leicester City from relegation from the Premier League. Fanny, who had returned to the Netherlands base before traveling to Spain for vacation, was increasingly frustrated by his lack of clarity in his position at the club. Now, Leicester City has finally informed Fanny of his decision to be dismissed.

Fanny succeeded Steve Cooper in November but failed to motivate the team to recover, losing 19 of his 27 games. Leicester City also failed to score in nine consecutive home league games, setting a top-flight record.

Van Nie was promised to sign three new players in the winter window, but due to the club's financial constraints, he eventually brought in only one player, full-back Vojo-Cullibali from Parma. Fanny has been working with a team with an unreasonable structure and an imbalanced lineup that has won just six league games throughout the season.

Leicester City was charged three times in the Premier League last month and faced heavy penalties and deducted points at some stage next season.

Fanny was originally trying to promote high standards in Leicester City. He left the two out of the plan after Winks and Westgow refused to stay at the training base for one night a week. It is reported that Fanny was shocked by the resistance the players showed on simple things such as physical training.

Fanny has brought hope to the future by promoting several club youth training teenagers. 15-year-old winger Jeremy Monga recently signed a new contract. However, despite the improvement when the pressure was reduced at the end of the season, the record was not outstanding enough.

Leicester City's future in the Championship is uncertain, and its owner, Wang Quan Group, is in financial difficulties in Thailand. Coupled with concerns about heavy penalties and points deductions next season, things won't get easier.
