June 13th News Earlier, during preparation for the finals, Thunder star Shay Gilgers Alexander said during an interview on the sidelines that his downturn in the fourth quarter of G3 was not caused by fatigue.

Alexander firmly stated that no matter how the Pacers try to exhaust his physical strength, fatigue cannot be an excuse. He said: "You have to grit your teeth and persevere. There are only four games left in the season. This is the goal you work for throughout the season, and the meaning of your hard training throughout the summer. For me, there is only one choice: grit your teeth, persevere, and strive for victory."

In the G3 game, Alexander, as the regular season MVP, only scored 24 points and 4 assists, which was far lower than the highlight moment of 34 points and 8 assists he scored in G2. And six mistakes in the game yesterday also set a new high in his personal playoff career. What's worse is that in the fourth quarter, he only made 1 goal three times, scored only 3 points, and had no assists. He watched the Pacers score a 32-18 score in the final quarter to complete the reversal, rewriting the series score to 2-1.

Nevertheless, Alexander was reluctant to blame the last quarter downturn on fatigue. He was powerless to stop the Pacers from completing the reversal again in the fourth quarter, but he emphasized that the physical confrontation in the game was not abnormal.

"I'm not sure, but I don't think it's (because of fatigue)," he admitted, "This is a very strong physical match. We have played a lot of these games before. Sometimes I performed well in the last quarter, and sometimes I played badly. I don't think there is anything special about this game, it's something I've seen and experienced before."

But the Pacers' defensive strategy is really consuming it. Pacers defender Andrew Nemhard is responsible for the main defense of Alexander. He said: "We have been working hard to make him play hard, and the key is to put pressure on the continuous. This is a team task. Each of us must maintain a high degree of concentration and work closely together to complete the defense."
