Johnson responded to Halliburton's key performance, especially in the calmness of the fourth quarter of the sixth game Saturday night. He ended up scoring 21 points and 13 assists, ending the series against the Knicks.

"Last night, Halliburton dominated the New York Knicks with pick-and-roll tactics in the fourth quarter! He was almost unstoppable. He either scored or made a great pass," lamented Johnson. What are the prospects for

Tyres Halliburton and the Pacers? It is commendable that Johnson, one of the NBA superstars, actually praised Tyrese Halliburton's outstanding performance so highly. Considering the Pacers' brilliant playoff record, the star guard's efforts deserved.

Halliburton made his first NBA Finals in just five years of his NBA career. The young defender has quickly grown into one of the best stars in the league since the Kings traded him to the Pacers midway through the 2021-22 season.

Although Halliburton was not labeled as "overrated" in this year's playoffs, he remains focused on leading the Indiana to glory. This is the team's first return to the NBA Finals since 2000 and the second time in the team's history to reach the Finals. This is a huge opportunity for Halliburton and this year’s team to go down in history as a team that accomplishes an impossible move. The Pacers will prepare for the first game of the 2025 NBA Finals, with the Oklahoma City Thunder. The competition will be held at 8:30 pm ET on June 5.
