I was encouraged by Kobe but didn t dare to go to the appointment! Beasley: I m afraid of making a fool of myself in front of my idol

Former NBA player Michael Beasley talked about his interaction with Kobe while playing for the Heat.

After the game, Kobe surprised him with a few words of encouragement, but his anxiety made him unable to accept the invitation. Wade invites Beasley to have dinner with him and Kobe, but Beasley says he hasn't been able to muster up the courage to go.

Beasley said: "After that game in Miami, I didn't expect him to know me, but he just slapped me with the high-high and said 'I support you.' This surprised me. Later, Wade invited me to have dinner with them, but I didn't go because of anxiety. I was too scared. At that stage of my career, I was a messing myself everywhere. I would rather make him feel that I was disdainful of being with him than saying stupid things in front of him."

For Beasley, this NBA "fan moment" ended up being a complete mistake. Even though he was recognized by Kobe in the game, he obviously failed to get together with Kobe and Wade in Miami because he was too nervous. This was a major missed opportunity for him, but the only thing he was worried about at the time was not to make a fool of himself in front of the league's most iconic player.

Beasley has played in the league for 11 years, averaging 12.4 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists in his career, and has a shooting percentage of 49.0%.
