Before the game, Derrick Jones Jr. was interviewed and asked about the Pelicans’ other wonderful performances, including the buzzer-beating dunk before the end of the first half and the alley-oop with Ivica Zubac, and said:
" I don’t think many people in the league can jump as high as me.”
In the Clippers’ 126-124 victory over the Pelicans, Jones Jr. played 28 minutes and scored 16 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, and 2 blocks on 7-of-10 shooting.
The Clippers' game against the Heat will be held at 11:30 tomorrow.
