Trade rumors are rumored every year, but they become veteran players of the team

I have always been unable to understand a question. Myles Turner is clearly the center that suits the Pacers most, why are the news that the Pacers want to trade him every year?
Turner was selected by the Pacers in the 15-16 season. He went through the Paul George era, the Oladipo era and the current Halliburton era, and was already a veteran of the Pacers. It is ridiculous that although the Pacers traded him every year, he has become the longest player in the Pacers' team.
1. In December 2021-22 season, the Pacers announced that they had entered reconstruction mode, with core players including Turner, Sabonis Jr. and LeVere being placed on the shelves. At that time, the Pacers management hoped to reorganize the lineup around the new core, and Turner became the trading target of multiple teams. But the deal failed to make a move in the end, and the Pacers chose to keep Turner.
2. In the summer of 2022-23 season, the Pacers had in-depth negotiations with the Lakers, hoping to trade Turner and Hilder for Westbrook and the draft pick. But because the Lakers refused to send out two first-round picks, the deal was ultimately not reached.
In addition, the Grizzlies proposed to pursue Turner with Steven Adams and two first-round picks. For the Pacers, this will acquire two valuable future assets, while absorbing Adams' expiration contract, helping the team to get a higher draft pick and accelerate rebuilding. But the deal was still rejected by Pacers management.
3. Before the 2023 trading deadline
In January 2023, Turner was still a hot deal, and the Lakers tried to introduce him again. However, the Pacers suddenly reached a two-year, $60 million contract extension with him, and the transaction negotiations were terminated.
4. The 2024 Kings trade proposal
The Sacramento Kings proposed a 4-for-1 trade plan in the 2024 offseason, trying to get Miles Turner from the Indiana Pacers trade. The Kings hope to get Turner to enhance their inside defense and three-point shooting ability, allowing Turner and Sabonis to form a double tower lineup to enhance the team's competitiveness in the West. However, the Pacers ultimately did not accept the offer.
Pacers wanted to trade Turner and exchanged him for rich chips, so they failed to make a lot of transactions. During his ten years with the Pacers, Turner averaged 14.1 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per game in the regular season, and shot 36.2% from three-pointers. He averaged 14.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2 blocks per game in the playoffs, and his three-point shooting percentage reached 39.5%. Turner has been the most stable point for the Pacers in recent years, and Turner can protect the frame in the interior and shoot three-pointers from the outside. He is the perfect center in the small ball era and the most suitable insider for this Pacers team, which focuses on offense. The only drawback is that as a 2.11-meter center, he averaged less than 7 rebounds per game in his career.
Last year, Turner averaged 17 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game in the playoffs, and his three-point shooting percentage was as high as 45.3%, becoming the team's hero to reach the Eastern Conference Finals. So far this year, he has led the Cavaliers 2-0 in the Eastern Conference semifinals, and the importance of Turner to the Pacers is self-evident. I believe that this time the team will not be reported to the transaction again.
