On May 6, Liverpool has officially announced that Arnold will leave the team this summer. The BBC wrote an article to choose three replacements for Liverpool, namely Gayla Douai, Anton Guy and Martin Fernandez.

Gela Douai (Strasbourg)

Gela Douai joined Strasbourg from Rennes last year. The 22-year-old player mainly plays as a right-back, but can also play as a central defender or right-wing back in the three-back system. Gerra Douai’s advantage is that he is very tough in one-on-one defense and can push forward through passes and dribbles, and his ball ability is shown when he inserts an assist.

Like Arnold, Gerra Douai likes to get the ball in his half and then search for a winger or forward through long passes. If Liverpool plans to introduce an adventurous full-back on the other side, the team is linked to Bournemouth left-back Kolkedz, then Gerra Douai is the ideal candidate for Slott's defense.

Anton Guy (Ajax)

Anton Guy is nicknamed "Denmark Beckham". The 22-year-old right-back has played in 23 games in the Dutch Eredivisie this season, contributing 2 goals and 4 assists. His passing quality is extremely high and there are many changes. In addition to passing ability, Anton Guy is also improving in defense, and the Danes are also entrusted with the important task of taking the set piece. In the long run, the introduction of Anton Guy is likely to pay off for Liverpool.

Martin Fernandez (Porto)

19-year-old Martin Fernandez is the youngest of the three, and can be said to be the most promising. He has played in 23 games this season and contributed 5 assists. He likes to press assists, and like Arnold, he is also a great crossman who is good at passing the ball into the opponent's six-yard area.

Martin Fernandez can get a chance to cross near the sideline by running without the ball, or send a pass in a small space, just as Arnold did. Meanwhile, Matim Fernandez handles the ball well under pressure and has excellent running ability on the defensive end, and he can adapt to Liverpool's Arnold mode.
