In the 12th round of the Premier League on November 23, Burnley lost 0-2 at home to Chelsea. Neto and Enzo scored for the Blues.
Burnley head coach Scott Parker said in an interview with the BBC after the game: "I think we performed very well in the first half and created some very good scoring opportunities. On another day, you might have seized one of them. Overall, I think the team played very well and with great intensity in the first half. We made some adjustments in the second half.
"But we played against a high-level team after all, and the momentum on the court is something indescribable. We did lack in the final kick. To be honest, I didn't expect much. I just hoped that the team could continue its performance in the first half and keep up with the opponent's rhythm. It's been tough at times, but like I said, we've improved tremendously from last week to today.
"I'm satisfied with the team's performance, and I say it so easily because we didn't get the ideal result. I'm not looking at the problem negatively, we understand that in the Premier League, small differences will matter. We will improve in this area, we have a very good team, everyone has been improving, I can see it."
