Chelsea sends Portugal international to Villarreal to achieve capital appreciation through transactions

Chelsea Club recently announced that defender Renato Vega has completed a permanent transfer to Villarreal. The deal brought considerable capital gains to the Blues. It is reported that the transfer fee reaches 25 million pounds and includes an important proportion of the second transfer share clause.
Last summer, Chelsea brought the Portuguese international from Basel for £12 million. Vega performed well during his time as a substitute left-back and was successfully selected for the national team for his outstanding performance. However, because the players were eager to get more opportunities to play in the central defenders, the two sides had a disagreement after half a year of cooperation. Vega was loaned to Juventus in January this year, and during this period he mainly played the role of central defender.
Despite the serious injury of central defender Colville, Chelsea is still pushing forward the streamlining of the back line. The club is currently operating the loan of two defenders: Argentine young centre-back An Sermino is expected to join Dortmund on loan, the deal may be related to the permanent transfer of midfielder Chukvimeca; French defender Di Sasi has become Bournemouth's signing target, and the Cherries proposed a loan plus a buyout option.
In addition, Bournemouth also expressed interest in Chelsea youth training production Achimpen, but the Blues are determined to retain the young player trained by the local area. Regarding Fofana, who has been in a social media turmoil recently, coach Maresca made it clear that the French central defender is still in the team's plan and emphasized that the players are "having a happy life" in the club.
