On August 21, German transfer counted the single-season recruitment expenditure record of Premier League teams.
This summer window, Brentford, Burnley, Liverpool and Sunderland have set historical records of their teams' single-season signing expenses, and more teams may join them before the transfer window is closed.
Premier League teams' highest single-season spending record was 630 million euros set by Chelsea in the 22/23 season.
