AC Milan itself is also actively operating in the transfer market to enhance the team's strength in dealing with the 2025/2026 season. One of their surprising steps was signing Modric for free after his contract with Real Madrid expired.

With rich experience and numerous achievements, Modric is expected to become the new core of the Ross and Blacks' midfield. But he stressed that the adaptation process will not be completed immediately.

Luka Modric's commitment to Milan, although no longer young

Luka Modric said he is ready to do his best for AC Milan. He stressed that age is not a reason to give up halfway.

He promised to show full dedication as before when he was in Real Madrid. For him, hard work remains the main key to his contribution.

"My experience. I will work hard, I will put in every effort and try everything else to do," his words as reported by the Milan News.

Modric understands the new challenge in Serie A

Modric believes that the Serie A has unique challenges and cannot be despised. He stressed the importance of understanding tactics in every game.

According to him, Italy's style of play relies heavily on the team's discipline and organization, which makes the adaptation process time.

"I'm very concerned about League One because there are a lot of Croatian players playing. You can see that it's a highly competitive league and is returning to its level."

"Tactically speaking, their team is very organized: it makes them different from La Liga. I have to adapt to playing in Italy this way as soon as possible," Modric said.
