August 9: Hazard revealed in an interview that Paris Saint-Germain once tried to introduce itself.
Hazard debuted in Lille and won the 2010-11 Ligue 1 championship with the team. He transferred from Lille to Chelsea in the summer of 2012. Hazard said: "Paris Saint-Germain tried (introduced me), and I have always maintained a good connection with President Nasser. In Lille's last year, I also went to see Paris Saint-Germain, I like Paris... but I don't want to stay in Ligue 1, I have left my mark in Lille. I can't imagine myself playing as Lille's opponent and scoring goals in the game against them... This is something I can't accept."
Hazard entered Lille's youth training since he was 14 years old. He continued: "For us, the Luchin training base at that time was the most fashionable, and the stadium facilities were brand new... I was amazed after seeing these. Moreover, Lille is an excellent Ligue 1 club and is very close to Belgium, which has become an important reason for attracting me to join."
