The initiator of the crowdfunding was a Manchester United fan named Ian M. He launched a crowdfunding campaign called "Baleba Transfer to Manchester United Fund" on Wednesday night, with photos of Baleba wearing a Brighton jersey. The fundraising note reads four consecutive times, "We must make this happen", with the target fundraising amount of £120 million, and the amount collected is currently 0.
